I have had much loss in my life, the most life altering was the suicide of my late husband Rob in Dec. 2000. His suicide impacted every aspect of my life both professionally and personally. It put my life on a path I would not have taken had this tragedy not happened, and am forever grateful to have discovered my passion for helping others learn to cope and heal from their losses.
I discovered The Grief Recovery Method® on my journey, was so impressed with their healthy approach to loss which closely aligned with mine, and interacted for over a year before deciding to take their certification training.
During the training I had to use their method and was very pleased that it not only identified many unresolved/incomplete emotional issues for me that I was still attaching to Rob's suicide, but that it allowed for even more healing to take place and change my view about him and the loss. It verified that this method works exceptionally well and knew it was my life purpose to share this gift with others who are struggling with loss.
The Grief Recovery Method® Support Group program I offer provides specific steps to help you with all types of loss. Many associate "loss" with a death, but in fact - there are 43 different types of loss and all involve grieving.
This program helps you identify which loss to work on first, the steps that allow you to do that in a way that identifies many unresolved emotional issues we may not even be aware of. Identifying those issues, working through them and resolving them allows you to be complete with that loss. It allows you to heal and recover so the loss no longer overtakes your life. The loss will always be with you, but the pain associated with that loss does not have to be.
We all deserve to live our lives well without constant pain from loss. This program is a life coping skill that can be applied to any loss and truly is a gift that will enable you to live alongside the many losses we all encounter in our lives in a healthy way. Some describe it as literally giving them their lives back - powerful testimony!

I look forward to supporting you to help you on your journey toward the life you deserve to live. ~ Barb Hildebrand
